The Resort

Colorful accents of the Mayan Culture are infused throughout this beautiful resort. Stone pathways and beautiful gardens led to your room. Wall art throughout the Hotel and lobby, as well as gorgeous rest areas and cheerful nooks to help you relax and enjoy your time and to remind you to just take a moment to “chill”. The restrooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful Mexican tile and gorgeous accents. Locally crafted Mexican wood furniture and colorful artwork throughout the resort.

We loved walking around the resort and spending time at the many “resting” areas and I really enjoyed my evening whooping my husband bootie at pool! There is a beautiful lounge area with a pool table, table tennis, bar, TVs, library, board games and music.

Just breath & relax

Mingle with others guests near the fire pit, listen to live jazz or relax with a crafty cocktail while watching the Sunset. You defiantly can “unplug” from the hustle and bustle of life and truly feel like your’e on Vacation at this resort. The outdoor areas are very inviting and fun, yet there is space to have more of an intimate quiet time if you would like. The resort is very safe and well maintained. The staff was very attentive and also thoughtful.

The resort is located just off of the ever so popular “5th ave”. It is tucked away to give you peace but close to all. Walk the avenue, shop and check out all of the local attractions without the need to get in your car.

Our trip…

Now that you have heard about the resort, let me share more about my personal experience! My husband and I were in the area celebrating our 20th Anniversary. I wanted to find a place that was a little bit more romantic and had a special feel to it. I am so glad that I found this hidden gem! I will defiantly be back and highly recommend this place to those looking for a great hotel experience in this area.

At check in, we were greeted and things went very smoothly. Our bell man insisted on helping us to our room. “Tito” was more than helpful and a delight to meet. He was very professional and made us feel very welcome. He explained about the resort, made sure that we had everything that we needed and continued to check on us throughout our stay. Karina, Susana and Yvette treated us very kindly and really made our experience there quit memorable. Their excellent customer service skills were impressive but what really stood out to me was that they remembered it was our Anniversary!

After a beautiful walk on the beach, my husband and I returned to our room and were greeted with an amazing surprise! A hand painted Mexican art piece with our last name on it and…. an amazing tray of chocolate truffles!!! YES!!! I said truffles! Relaxing in the hammock and enjoying the Ocean breeze while indulging on the complimentary anniversary treats was defiantly mind blowing! Such a thoughtful gift and it was truly appreciated.

We enjoyed strolling though the hotel property and looking at all the unique flora that is native to this area. We came across a jungle area and even an ancient mayan hut. We checked out the spa, and fitness center and of course stopped for an ice cream and also made a trip to the pottery cabana to thank them for the thoughtful gift.

During our stay we dined at one of the restaurants for dinner and also enjoyed an oceanfront view breakfast. But my favorite was enjoying Happy hour with my honey! Salud!

Tip-Happy hour is BOGO on specific drinks. The infinite pool bar also offers a snack-mixed nuts w/lime.

In the evening we hung out beach side on the loungers and enjoyed the sounds of the Ocean. We also went to the “game room” and played pool until 1am!

Our stay there was ‘magical & memorable”. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!
